Ancient Synagogue Discovered: Kudos to BYU’s Matt Grey and the Rest of the Team.

Matt Grey, a friend of mine in the Ancient Scripture department at BYU, is part of an archaeological team led by Jodi Magness of the University of North Carolina.  They just announced some very exciting finds related to an ancient synagogue at the site of Huqoq in the Northern Galilee.  The synagogue floor was covered with beautiful mosaics including an Aramaic inscription and a representation of Samson and the foxes from Judges 15:4.  Matt Grey as Illinois Jones has done it again.  Great work!
