My reading list for doctoral exams in Judaism and Christianity in Antiquity, taken in 2004, included the following books and articles below. Given the six month time frame to get through all of these, I learned how to read more quickly, take better notes, and make better outlines of books. I averaged reading a book every day and a half (or less). How do you learn you can do something you’ve never done before? By simply doing it.
