A few of my friends tipped me off to this article published nearly a year ago.  Still relevant, especially for those who have been through graduate programs.  It provides a rather rare, though relevant, entry point to the discussion concerning the standard narrative about multicultural appreciation that dominates most graduate studies programs. “Joe Henrich and his colleagues are shaking the foundations of psychology and economics—and hoping to change the way social scientists think about human behavior and culture.“
